1. Buying a Gift Owl Card

How do I pay for a Gift Card Owl?
You can use pretty much any credit or debit card to pay via PayPal. You don't need to have a PayPal account. Just follow the instructions on the secure PayPal payment site.

Can I have a Gift Owl Card sent straight to the recipient?
Yes. Simply enter the full name and address you would like the Gift Owl Card sent to at the start of the order process. If you leave this field blank we'll send the card to the address associated with your payment method.

What’s a despatch date?
You can choose to have your Gift Owl Card sent on a specific date. Please note, this is the posting date (not the delivery date) and you should take Royal Mail's First Class Delivery times (typically 1-2 days) into account when selecting your despatch date.

Can I have a personal message printed inside a Gift Owl Card?
Yes, we can print a message inside the card before we send it out. Simply enter the message on the payment pages (200 characters maximum).

Can I buy more than one Gift Owl Card at a time?

2. Using a Gift Owl Card

Do I have to complete all of the questionnaire in the Gift Owl Card?
No. You can fill in as little or as much as you like. Of course, the more you tell us about yourself, the better we'll be able to choose your gifts.

What is my Gift Owl Card Number?
Your Gift Owl Number is the unique identifier which we need to fulfil your order. It is written in two places on your Gift Owl Card: once on the inside flap which you can keep, and once on the reverse of the card which you send back to us.

How long is my Gift Owl Card valid for?
12 months from the day it was purchased. You can find the expiry month on your Gift Owl Card along with your unique Gift Owl Number, and you have until the end of that month to redeem your Gift Owl Card.

What if I lose my card?
You need to return your physical Gift Owl Card to claim your package. We cannot guarantee to fulfil your order if your card is lost, damaged or stolen, but if this does happen please get in touch ( and we will do our very best to sort you out.

Do I need a stamp?
Yes. But just one. The price of the Gift Owl Card includes postage and packaging for us to send out both the Gift Owl Card and Gift Owl Package. Return postage for the Gift Owl Card is not currently included, because we don't have a Freepost facility.

3. Gift Owl Packages

What will be in my package?
It's a surprise(!) Each Gift Owl Package is put together especially for the recipient. What you get will depend on how you answer the questions in your Gift Owl Card, and what catches our eye whilst we're out hunting for you. Please bear in mind that our service covers more than just the cost of the gift items - the price also includes the time to choose the gifts, the original card and it's postage, plus wrapping and postage of the final parcel. How long will it take for my package to arrive?
We will send you your Gift Owl Package just as soon as we can, but because each package is put together especially for you it may take us up to 30 days from receiving your Gift Owl Card.

Will the package fit through my letter box?
It depends on what we send you. Each Gift Owl Package is different.

What if I don't like my Gift Owl Package?
Oh no! We try our very best to send you things we think you'll love. Occasionally we might get it wrong. Please let us know if so and we'll do our best to fix it for you. We want you to be delighted when you unwrap your surprises.
